No wonder there is confusion. Someone has too much money when he can get angry, and then go build a new museum with a similar name.

The Rain Room is here:

Well, my first reaction to your comment was that I was being taken out to the shed for a spanking for speaking an untruth, (of course, that was when I was groggy and waking up...still there was a slight tinge of panic that I was very wrong in what I wrote!)

This is interesting, I said...Broad Contemporary Art Museum, (with the given that it was at LACMA).

Which is entirely true.

You Googled the Broad Museum (of Contemporary Art), and came up with Cindy Sherman: Imitation of Life.

Ah Ha!

The quick story because I have to get out of here and go to work today...Mr. Broad had a falling out with LACMA and, iirc, resigned his seat on the Board of Directors of LACMA...and...

Mr. Broad took the balance of his extensive collection of Contemporary Art and built, at great expense, The Broad, (Museum of Contemporary Art) in downtown Los Angeles, far from the site of LACMA and the Broad Museum of Contemporary Art...where this elevator is.

I even won a Challenge photographing The Broad, Challege 151:

Ain't money grand?

(why am I so poor?)

I just took a look at the Broad's web site. It looks like a very interesting museum.
Is it Cindy Sherman: Imitation of Life that is the Rain Room?

This is the coolest elevator possible, it is in the Broad Contemporary Art Museum...it is massively huge....for an elevator.

Why am I alone?

I sometimes wonder this myself...it is a difficult-difficult question.

PS People below are actually waiting for entry into the Rain Room not the elevator....the wait for tickets is months long...I've never made it into that exhibit.

I like this perspective, especially with the people waiting on the floor below.
Given that, why are you alone?
