Further, I read somewhere that if you only use native ISO stops (turn off the 1/3 stops and you get less noise. Seems to work for me. Paul

What.... 800 ISO as the top! No way Jose, 800 is just getting your foot in the door. Here are 1600 and 3200 samples from the same day as my 1st entry after the first light vanished. Ironically 3200 shows somewhat better than the 1600. Most likely I pushed something too far in PP on the 1600.

I work the horizon every time to prevent being humiliated by you'z all...lol

Maybe because it is dark and no contrast, or not much, I am finding that the ruler isn't working much on these type of images...

However, using "Guide," lines have served this purpose quite well also!

(yes, the 6D has been good to me...but I am still afraid to shoot over 800iso, I do on occasion, but it certainly feels weird...lol

Best Wishes, Traveller

And don't forget to add when T recently learned how to level a horizon. Paul

Traveller, I think that 6D was the best thing that ever happened to you, from a photography standpoint. (I'm assuming most or all of your entries in this challenge were made with it.) - Ken
