Even oranges see a younger self in the mirror... tragic. :)

Not sure how I missed this entry other than life has been fast paced and hectic lately.
I love it for the sheer creative factor. Good job Mr. Jim. Paul

Optical illusion works for me. Playing with peoples' brains from the outset.

This was just such a good Idea...kind of a genius leap into smart....it seemed important to do some tweaks if possible....this is perfect now, (to me). Best Wishes, Traveller

I actually use a masked adjustment layer, Hue/Saturation/Lightness, in PS to get the desired look. This last one does look more like you are suggesting. Thanks for the efforts and comments.

Jim, this seems a little pale to me...over in Pending I have placed the original and Jim1, 2, 3, and 4, each with a little heavier application, in succession, of the burn tool...I think these are closer?

But maybe not.

Dave - the mirror is angled down just a bit, and I had the camera on a tripod above it just a bit so I eliminated the reflections of the table edge and my camera.
I think it is a bit of an optical illusion. The focus points are on the lower edge of the mirror.

I like this a lot. Whimsical and without unnecessary distractions.
One minor comment: the mirror appears to be angled up rather than down towards the orange. Or perhaps I'm not seeing it correctly?

Toned down green.

Traveller,
Thanks. It is a bright green, and already toned down a bit.
I will play with it some more.

Jim, this is really great and smart too...one criticism...the green seems too day-glow to me. Maybe tone it down a little? I hate to see a really fine image have...fixable problems.

I wouldn't comment if I really didn't like this.

Is my view true for anyone else?
