There is both a Saguaro East and a Saguaro West park. I've taken a ranger led walk at Saguaro East where we saw a couple of Saguaro skeletons along the way. Worth taking. There is also a 17 mile loop that you can drive in Saguaro West that is quite the ride. I need to get back there.

We went out to the museum and as we cleared the Gates pass we had to stop for a bit to take in the beauty and awe of the area. We were at a trail head parking area but didn't do any hiking since we were on the way to the museum. Paul

Then the next time you come, you need to walk through Saguaro National Park. Mostly live ones, and plenty of them.

Well you know the old saying, "if you've seen one dead cactus you've seen them all". Trouble is I don't seem to tire of seeing them, dead or alive. Paul.

This one is out on the QC golf course. The one you may be thinking of was in the Arid Garden in Green Valley. This one is pretty tall.
