Most of the snow in Minneapolis doesn't come until January and later. Same for the cold. However, it was quite cold that night, with a breeze as I recall. This was the last of the annual Holidazzle parades. You can tell from the dress of the parade watchers that it isn't southern AZ or FL
Thanks guys. As I recall, I shot a couple of quick shots at different exposures as the float came down the street. The exposures also varied a bit as to where I focussed.
This one seemed to be the best and easiest to work from. I didn't do anything to the people in back, all lit by incandescent light. I liked the warm glow they had on them.
Excellent shot, Jim. And, as Traveller noted, exposure must have been very tricky. - Ken

The mixed lighting here had to be very difficult..but a clean distinct shot with a good happy feel to it. It made me smile big, and that is always a good thing. Traveller
