Much, much nicer...with real drama and isolation of the subject through a perfect use of negative space. It is good that we can do a re-do at times. Traveller
Actually, this was taken in our front yard at about 3000 ft. We are about 400 ft higher than Tucson. The background are the small rocks that make up our yard. It is hard to find a background for "negative space" in Madera Canyon unless you use the sky or get in real close for a macro and totally blur the background. BTW, I'm not particularly thrilled with this background; I had to selectively darken it to make it somewhat presentable.
You mush have drove up to the canyon again because I can't imagine you found that down at the elevation of Tuscon. It looks like our colors, well at least our colors did until we got our first hard freeze on saturday night. Glad I was for the hard freeze too because it kills off those stupid tree mites which we have had a real problem with this year. Paul
