I am not fearful of heights at all, I live my life on ladders after all. Before I proceed I should say yesterday I was working on my 12 foot step ladder, near the top, when it broke and went over........ Pain builds character right.

After watching that video and a few others there on YouTube that looks to be one tough climb and looked to be several places on that climb that would give me the willies. Coming down is worse than going up.

It's very rare that give more than 1 point in the voting but your entry here will be an exception. I really like this. Paul

Let me add something else....though the video link below is what is important. I still haven't done the Yellowstone images from last September because I was at the Falls when an 8 year old fell to her death. So be careful for the rest of us.

Paul, here is a good 3 minute video of the full ascent to "Angel's Landing," in Zion NP. It is not my video which I was going to post, but this is complete and much more professional.

But I caution anyone that see's this picture or video, 9 or more people have died on this hike at various times...if there is high wind or any ice at all...turn back, please. There is no shame in being smart!

Dying is not worth it...or worth anything for that matter.

If you said where this place is located I missed it. I'd love to know where this is. Paul.

It sounds like a super trip and a great hike up to the saddle. As Paul said, this shot should be printed large and hung someplace in your home to remind you of your success.

I'm proud just to have made it all the way up to the saddle....this is a pretty vertical assent up the canyon wall...though I did not make it all the way to Angel's Landing...the winds were ferocious and the trail even became tinnier. I was very slow however, stopping for water and cookies and breath...lol...with much frequency. Best Wishes, Traveller

The branched don't kill or really detract from this really great image. Be proud and print it.

They are dead tree branches...lol....I thought of removing them myself...thanks for noticing and the advice. Best Wishes, Traveller

Great shot - composition, lighting, and post processing - are all there.
I especially like the colors and contrast against the blue sky.

Sweet is right, that is a fantastic shot you have there T. Got my vote!!! I hope you print it big and put it on the wall, think canvas!

Only question I have is what are those small white curving lines at the base of the cliff on the lower right corner? Paul
