Squirrel in Flight

Boulder, CO

What could be more natural than a squirrel, leaping from branch to branch (conveniently out of sight of man-made background)?

Fun shot. It almost has this 3d effect, just pops out!

Thanks for the comments. yes, the AF on the 7DII is really good. The high ISO noise is the best I've seen out of an APS-C camera. Obviously not as good as full frame, but within a stop of the 5DIII, and better if you have to crop the full frame a lot. I have no qualms about shooting at ISO 12800. That's something I did maybe twice on the 7D.

So far everything I've read about the 7D MII focus tracking abilities is that it's on par with the 1D bodies and your capture appears to support that claim. Now how about the high ISO noise. Paul

A great catch. The burst capabilities work as well as advertised. You caught every last detail.
