Dark and Dusty (painted on the sky)

Boulder, CO

I was walking in Boulder and saw the moon peeking out of the clouds. I thought it made a dramatic effect. If I'd had longer to set up the shot, I would have dropped the shutter speed and ISO quite a bit. But I'm still getting the hang of a new camera (7DII), and had it on auto ISO with the minimum SS set at 1 stop faster than the default, it was dark, and my wife was hurrying me (that's a good all-purpose excuse). Anyway, I though the B&W conversion looked quite decent.

Moody shot, but I can understand your wife, who wanted to move out from this place

She may have been trying to keep you moving because of how dark and spooky looking looking that street is................ Paul

This really fits the phrase "dark and dusty, painted on the sky." Good work! - Ken

I like this a lot....it is full of mood and urban detail....and also maybe some danger.
