Jim, it's definitely possible that my monitor is off a bit. I use Spyder4Pro to calibrate my monitors, but I'm not sure just how well it works. I do think this looks better on my monitor with the changes you made ... but it really wasn't bad before :-) - Ken

Ken - I know our monitors are calibrated differently. Both your leopard and the elephant look a bit dark to me.
I will recalibrate when I reach Green Valley this week. I probably work in a brighter room than you do, though my colormunki is supposed to compensate for the ambient light.

Ken - could be, as this was just a quickie. It looked the same on both of my monitors, which is good as I calibrate them the same way.
The more I look at it, I guess the grass is a bit bright.
Here is the same shot using Lightroom with the exposure reduced by 0.5, the highlights reduced a bit, and the shadows bumped up a bit.

Excellent job of stitching the pano! To me, the image is just a little too bright. I wonder if it wouldn't make the colors "pop" a little more if you darkened it slightly? (Or, maybe it's my monitor?) - Ken
