Chicago has a significant Italian presence. There would never be any thought of cancelling. It went on for at least two hours. The floats, the bands, the cars with dignitaries, the jugglers, the marching groups (e.g., the Navy, the Knights of Columbus, the high school groups): all ignored the rain and carried on. Charlie
