It's a touch wide for my 26" monitor too. I should have made it 1920 but I choose larger.

2000 px is a bit wide for my 22 in 1920px wide monitor.

Lovely colors in this. The barn(s) look huge. ~Melanie

I really do appreciate your input on this. I'm the other way around and spend too much time on horizons. I even considered trying to skew the left side slightly to...... well you get the idea, I left it as it was figuring I might get some brow beating for no real framing in it anyway. Paul

I'm terrible with horizons. Now, the more I look at it, the roof on the barn on the right looks pretty level.

Re framing - I see multiples here - one cow between multiple cows; all cows between the barns, and the farm between the water and the sky.

I am aware that the horizon appeared to be off but at the same time I also know that the land falls off about 6 feet from one end of the image to the street which is just out of the frame and when I tried to straightened it the water was looking like it was starting to go uphill.

Even then it's all for naught since the black angus cattle are minimally considered as framed between the barns. I'll most likely be moving it out to pending. Don't want that guy coming back with another rant about being off topic and him loosing out. Paul

I took a look on Google Earth. You just have to love these farmers who hang on like this.

I'm glad you like Lightroom. You will grow to like it more and more, imo. It needs to improve its high ISO noise reduction, and detailed sharpening, but they are still pretty good.

For this shot, in the crop tool you may want to try to straighten the horizon a bit.

This is my 1st real attempt at working with Lightroom. I still don't know much about it but at the moment I'm leaning towards buying it. My 30 day trial period has run out but I've fond a way to be able to continue to experiment with it while I learn more about it and decide if I do want it or not.

Want to see something interesting, open google maps and turn on earth view and enter these coordinates. 38.890669, -94.629778 this little still working farm is in the city and boxed in by by mostly 1/2 million dollar homes in a well to do section of the metro area. Paul

Yes , subtle. But the cows can sense it.
They also know they are in a great scene. Beautiful red and green mixed with (and framed by) the blues of the sky and water.

I like its rich palette and calming scene....also, maybe oddly, I am very used to farms, but not with farms with water so close....So also interesting in this respect. Traveller
