A thought, as I don't have the right lens either for what you just describe you would have liked to do. Could you have constructed a vertical pano, where you zoomed in more on the moon, then lowered the camera and shot more ship. Then stitch them together.
BTW, I still really like this as it is. The moon jumps out at me.
Thank you, Gentlemen. EXIF is 2.5 sec, 3.5f, 100iso....I really wanted the moon, but if as I zoomed in more, I lost the ship...so this was a compromise...the moon is still pretty good....and the ship also. Traveller
