Thanks, Jim & Alastair, for your comments. This is the new 18-55 IS STM that comes in the kit with Canon SL1. When entering the data for the photo, I accidentally said it is an EFM lens ... it is not. Sorry for the confusion. I have corrected it now. It seems to be every bit as good as the 18-55 that comes with EOS-M. - Ken

Great shot, and wonderful bokeh. That's not the EFM 18-55, though, is it? That lens only fits the EOS M (which I have). Yours must be the EF-S 18-55. Optically, they're pretty much the same, but the EF-M is smaller, because it's designed for the mirrorless mount. I don't think there's an adapter to allow EF-M lenses on DSLRs. But I might be wrong.

Thanks! No, no extension tubes or close-up filters. That's within the native close-focus range of the 18-55mm lens. - Ken

That's pretty nice, I would not of expected that close with that lens. Are you using extension tubes? P.A.
