Hi, thank you very much for the kind comments. The story ... ok ... I shot this in Dongchuan Red Lands, Province Yunnan, China. Besides the red land in Rio de Janeiro, the red land of Dongchuan is healed the most magnificent red land in the world. Comparing to red land in Brazil, the scenery here is even more beautiful. Reputedly, the discovery of Dongchuan Red Land should be owed to a photographer. He saw the spectacular gorgeous red land when he was passing by plane. Then he went to Dongchuan lots of times to search the red land area. He won a lot of prestigious Photographical Awards, trying to keep his discovery in secret ... but no secrets can be kept forever ...
Now the area is world wide famous for and is visited by countless tourists, predominantly photographs. The people you see on the picture all are photographs, walking around and looking for better point of view. K
I was so impressed with the overall image that I failed to notice all the people milling about. There has to be a story behind what is going on there and would love to hear about it. Paul
