Sky Wheat

Nope. Not a cheesy radio DJ name but it very well could be.

I spotted this while on an afternoon drive back home running some errands. The angle really caught my eye. Nothing but wheat field and sky.

The nice thing about these back country roads is that you can actually stop on the road, get out and take a few photos. All you're really going to slow down is the farmer on the tractor. And if you can get the shots you need and still get out of his way then that's a pretty fun challenge in and of it's self.

Nicely seen and captured. I like landscapes like this - you get a real sense of the country.

Are you sure that's wheat?? It's hard to tell given the size of the image but that looks more like soy beans to me. Not to mention wheat usually isn't harvested this time of year. Summer wheat is harvested in late July and early August and then they plant their winter wheat shortly after if they are not rotating crops.

Very, Very, VERY impressive...this truly catches the attention and makes one think...just excellent.

We maybe can only shoot what we see...but we have to have the eye...and the will...to see it and then shoot it.

Nicely done here.
