Thanks K. This isn't my best deer shot, but I was trying for something a little different.
Think of Jim Brandenburg's photo of a wolf half hid by a tree. That's what I was going for.

Basically, the composition is not the best, because the head is hidden behind the tree, but that open eye makes the shot. I think you can cut the empty space on the right side
