Oops - I did not have the 24-70 vc but the 28-70. This may explain the difference. -Gerald

Garden gnomes - we either love them or hate them. At any rate a good choice for this topic. I once had the Tamron 24-70 mm but did never get really sharp results, perhaps I got a bad copy; yours is definitely better. -Gerald
