This aspect ratio made me think about how hight the balance point of a vessel like this is situated, it seems like a wonder that it does not tilt over. -Gerald

Because Stan and Shu are Not Without Brightness...Mystery Solved

...nor am I always stupid, just sometimes, (and even then not very much).

So what has been going on with picture sizes here in the Challenges?

Obviously, Stan's Need a Hoist, Sized 402x800 is not the same size as Stan's Old 64 right next to it, and has the dimensions 1177x2338.

One is huge on my screen and unviewable, the other fits quite nicely. What is going on?!?

Likewise, Shu's Afterlife in CIC 92 is monstrous on my screen at 2048 x 1536 pixels (but also a very large 741459 bytes), while her Sealed in the same Challenge was just fine at 104702 bytes and
800 x 638 pixels.

So what is going on?

I presume that Stan and Shu are using Chrome as their browsers that has a "Shrink to Fit," function so that all images look fine and properly sized on their screens.

Me, using Firefox, without that function or me not turning it on if it exists, makes these images big, big, big.

This is not Stan or Shu's fault, but digging into this a bit further, this is the answer.

Ta da!

Best Wishes, Traveller

Traveller, not sure I know what you mean, put a picture reducing noise in Pending, is that what you are talking about.

Stan, this may benefit from resizing to fit your computer screen...noise will be reduced, though noise reduction though PS or other programs might also be helpful...but just resizing will help tremendously. Traveller
