A safer slower lane

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Returning from Ta Prohm temple in Cambodia, my main camera's battery depleted, it was left to my new pocket/reserve camera to capture scenes from the roadside. As my maniac tuk-tuk driver insisted on overtaking everything in sight, I snapped many backs of heads, before I realised I could simply turn around and capture the fronts too!

PS: Camera date shows 7-JAN-12, I didn't get around to setting the date before using it.

There's something quite powerful about this - the expression on the driver's face and the diagonal line from lower left to upper right. It works really well. Regards, Michael

No, not mine, obviously....Najinsky is Good....lol...with everything, everywhere, even without his primary camera. I particularly like the way the child's hair is flying around.

Best Wishes, Traveller

PS The Swensen's Ice Cream Parlor is lovely stop in the evening...right along the central road and next to the canal...you can't miss it...lol...I so enjoyed Siem Reap! Three days was not nearly enough.

Fooled I was, looking at the thumbnail I thought sure this was a Traveller entry. Paul
