Fry's Flat

The lines formed by the stream lead the eye to the clump of trees, which is (more or less) on one of the intersections of the rule-of-thirds lines.
It was taken early on a drizzly day, so the colour is a bit unusual.

Thanks for the comments Shu, Sierra and Paul.

Shu, it was more or less as shot, without a warming filter (but with a 3 stop ND filter).

I decided it looked too red though, so this is a slightly toned down version. Regards, Michael

Now this is one outstanding scene you found and captured Michael, I hope you have it hanging on one of your walls. As they say in Italy "fantastico"

It is rare I give more than 1 point in voting but this one will be an exception.

I love the water, and it does feel like a fairy tale.

yes, and the eye travels to a point of interest which is also quite colorful - rainbow quality! i have never been a fan of water made smooth by a slow shutter speed, but this shot has fairyland appeal. shu
