Thanks for your comment, Paul. I'm no expert on UK weather, but it wasn't bad when I was there in September and October of 2010. It's my understanding that probably the best months to travel in England are May, June, September and October, since they generally have the most pleasant temperatures and less rain. July and August are the warmest months, but also the wettest. I really enjoyed my visit and hope to get back there some day. -- Ken

Very nice! I've seen my share of Europe thanks the US Army but never visited the UK. My wife has Irish citizenship we plan to visit in the future. If time allowed it would be wonderful to jump cross the channel to visit the UK. Should I bring my rain gear"? ;~) Paul
