@Paul and Leo: This was taken at Augsburg/Germany. They used to decorate some streets with illuminated christmas trees, stars or angels, sometimes making use of the tram wire system as in this picture. This year, lights were fewer and dimmer; energy is getting expensive.

@Shu: Somehow, the angels look drawn indeed. Much detail was lost due to the high noise reduction made necessary by iso 1600. There was a lot of color noise in the sky which I was not able to reduce completely, instead of the fine noise, the sky has become blotchy and the vicinity of the lights got a purple shade. I am not really glad with the PP but I like the picture anyway.

I wonder where this was taken? It would be very interesting trying to hang something like the in a US city. I like this, a very unique and interesting shot.
