But I already have two mouths facing each other...presumably in conversation. If either mouth were turned around, how could she be talking herself? I don't see the allegorical inference with your suggestion.

Trav, " ... talking to herself ..." - this is exactly the reason why I suggested to turn the mouth around, that would add a level of allegory.

Dearest K:

Oh no, I can't turn the mouth around....she is talking to herself, just as humans do....an almost never ending stream of thought and words spoken every day to ourselves, by ourselves.

The mouth turned around defeats the truth.

We are always talking to ourselves.

Looks to me like she has a split personality.

I think I hear Jimmy Hendrix music in background. "Excuse me while I kiss the sky"! Paul

I do Agree that...being a woman in today's world is a special difficulty....was it equally bad in the fifties, I'm trying to remember or, is this....disjointedness on the passage from cradle to grave just something infects all of us from time to time?

But this is a good an meaningful piece of Art....the only trouble is that I myself still try to understand what it is saying....lol

The vertical lighter gray bar on the far left is intentional...but its meaning and significance....damned if I know, and I constructed this.
