Sharon the photo is not a traditional HDR as it was not composed from multiple exposures, but it was processed as a single exposure image in Photomatix as a painterly look. Thanks, Ed.
Thanks Sharon for your comments. This a campground that my wife and I camp at a couple weeks each year. It is Bear River Lake Resort. It is in Northern California off of State Highway 88 at Pioneer, California, 60 miles south of South Lake Tahoe and 42 miles east of Jackson, California. The Lake is at about 5,600 ft. elevation. All three of my entries in exhibition were taken there. I have played with the photo some more, it now has a bit more contrast. I hope that it looks better to you, I think it looks better. But, what do I know? Thanks again, Ed.
Where is this, Ed? It looks like a lovely lake. Is this HDR? You brought out the clouds beautifully but I was thinking that the trees and bushes could use a bit more contrast or could be darkened a bit. Nice shot! ~Sharon
