topaz does have a great new plugin, but somehow, these new and easier tools take away from the joy of creating scratch in photoshop. there are so many tools out there to make an image into what you imagine. shu

I cropped this as carefully as possible....I felt that for the narrative flow I needed the gate entrance in the frame....though this greatly reduced the emphasis on the bottles.

When I shoot it I confess I thought of a much tighter crop myself....later at home, I could still read the Bud Label and so went this way.

"Voter frenzy this image will not induce," so sayeth Yoda....lol

My favorite brand of beer too. I agree about trying to blur the background. Topaz has a new PS plugin called Lens Effects that I watched the webinar last week, it looks pretty impressive. Here is a link to where you can download a 30 day free trial. Might just be the ticket you need to thrust your image into a voting frenzy. Paul

so funny and great idea! maybe a bit of blur in the background would help bring focus to the bottles. also a crop would help w distracting elements.

now, would you call this a duotone w the spots of blue and just a black and white background? just wondering. shu
