I didn't even realize I was shooting at iso3200. It was dawn, so my ISO was set for nighttime and I guess I didn't check it. That probably accounts for the camera going to f/36 on its own.
Well dang it all, you would think I'd know that about the 28-135 since I had and used that lens for 3 years. Sold it about 3 years ago. I totally forgot it was able to stop down to f36. Paul
Thanks! I don't remember what I did here, but the lens was a Canon 28-135mm. It's possible that I set the shutter speed and let the camera set the aperture. I don't think there's an f/36 setting.
Nice sunset. I assume the lens is the 100 mm macro, Joshua certainly will tell us. Perhaps stopping down not so far and using a shorter exposure would have improved sharpness (the image is not really unsharp) because at f stop numbers as big as f/36, diffraction more than cancels out the bigger DOF. -Gerald
