Very nice composition, the figure about to disappear into the darkness put the finishes touch - very good timing. I also wonder if cropping the out of focus foreground out, as Sharon suggested, would add the value?

So often, we think of street photography as taking place in a more urban setting. This photo proves that doesn't necessarily have to be the setting. Very nicely seen and shot.

I almost didn't see the person in this shot but you caught her just before she walked into the shadow. The sidewalk leads our eye to her so that this works pretty well. I wonder if this would be a bit more dynamic if you cropped the out of focus foreground out? ~Sharon
