10th: Iris
by Michael Kilpatrick

Alternate title - "Highly Original, Never Been Done Before 2".
I have been having some fun with stacking images to maximise depth of field. This is five shots with bracketed focus, blended in Photoshop.

Thanks for the comments Peter, Jim, Nico and Penny.
Penny, it seems to have taken the exif data from the last shot. The processing was done in Photoshop CS4 -
The images were taken so that each part of the flower was in focus in at least one of them, then:
File/Scripts/Load Files Into Stack (with "Attempt to Align Layers" ticked).
Then select all layers and Edit/Auto Blend Layers.
Photoshop inserts masks automatically to display the in-focus areas of each image.
These can be edited if necessary, but in this case I didn't have to do that.
My tongue in cheek alternate title (rip-off from Nico) refers to the moistened-flower-against-a-dark-background, by the way. Regards, Michael

So question - I'm curious, how does the exif appear if this is from 5 different images?
And which part gets bracketed (or can you pick)?
Anyway, it certainly is an interesting and fruitful process!! Nice color too.

Can I be like a teenager and simply says: this rocks! :-)

Stunning technique... you've given something completely new to read up on. Thanks! Regards Nico
