Our first stop on the Amalfi Coast was in Positano, a village built at the end of a pebble-covered beach and up the side of the mountain. The walk from our hotel down to the beach included many steep, zig-zagging stairways. After a few days in Positano, we took a boat down the windy, mountainous coast toward Atrani. This small town is right next to the touristy Amalfi and was a good base for hiking up the mountain to beautiful town of Ravello.
