This one snuck up on me, and I wasn't ready to shoot it as it approached from the West. I'm glad I shot it "late", since I would have missed the heat distortion and the water spray as the plane made the lowest pass I've ever seen during a Blue Angels show. The Coast Guard made sure there was a boat-free lane down the center of the show area. Good thing they did, since by the time I took this shot, the plane was actually climbing, ...it had been about five to eight feet lower during the pass.
