This shot and the next three in the sequence show how squirrelly the bike got coming out of the K-Tree left-hander. But he never got off the gas. The road surface is bumpier than it looks, and they are flying through these bends, literally. The broken sunlight and shadows under the trees makes it even trickier on sunny days. Whoever decided to put that blue cushion on that tree must have a great sense of humor, since the bare stone wall on the outside of the turn - where you'll actually land - has no padding at all.
