Deserted House - St-Colomban, Québec

We spotted this small house falling into ruins along a road in St-Colomban, Québec. It was a sunny spring afternoon and I ventured in despite the neighbour's dog's threatening presence, the unstable floor, the caving in roof and the leaning structure of the place.

What a wonderful capture of the essence of this home.It still has a story to tell and you managed to do so. This is one of those galleries where each image draws context from the others. You build, image by image, a story of time, loss, and decay.
