C-Tina, give yourself some credit and a break - you don't look artificial in any of your SPs - if anything you look very real because that is how you capture yourself - this shot is really very good - the lighting is right - the effect really works for it and the cropping and framing really work for a dramatic finished piece - V
An amazing set of images that ends with this one. Really interesting how I prefer this image in the thumbnail set, yet get a greater appreciation of the others when viewed full size. More than that though, I have to admire you for exploring so many different self portraits. In a drawing class last summer, I made the obligatory self portrait. Didn't like it or think it looked like me. And stashed it in the garage. Happened onto it last week and thought, "Gee, not too bad, but I'd better not get any aspirations for Hollywood stardom." Self portraits take courage. Congratulations.
