The residents of FYROM are continuing to insist on the name "Macedonia" not taking into consideration that 98% of Ancient Macedon is Greek. People in other countries who might be ignorant of history do not realize that this dispute is not about names but about the theft of Greek history. The Slavs migrated to the area they call macedonia in the 6th Century A.D.

have any of you so-called "macedonians" visited the Greek museum of Vergina. If you have you will see that the stones that were used in King Phillip's tomb have Greek letters on them. Not Slav.

Call your country whatever you wish, you will never be Macedonians.

Hi I'm Amanda and I'm Macedonian. I have never been to macedonia before but later on this year I am planing to go. My relatives over there tell me its a beautiful country and we deserve our rightful name. No one has the right to say we are part of Greece any more. Just because we have a population of only 2 million, doesnt mean that its not a great counrty. I am very proud of my Macedonian background and I will not tolerate anyone that calls macedonia FYROM.

I'm macedonian and I live in skopje the capital,history is behind us but that is good only for you coz if you look into it you will see that we should have the whole part including Solun and by the way VERY NICE PIC's :)

As Yiannis Pavlis prooves greeks are very arogant and hostile people. They are in bad relations with all their neighbours because they still think that Greece is the same it was 3000 years ago. Macedonia is the region that nowadays belongs to Greece,The republic of macedonia, and bulgaria. Why should only Greece have the right to use it.
