China and Tibet are two of the oldest cultures in the world. There are cultural differences, there is economic disparity, there are most certainly religious issues. China is changing and it will take time, just as in the USA civil rights will require another 100 years before it becomes a way of life for the average American. There is hope for the future, hope in human nature. At least there is no wall to separate the two cultures, but perhaps the unseen wall is the most difficult to deal with.
