Sunset Crater National Monument

Located east of Flagstaff, Arizona, off of US 89.

There is a campground, about 40+ sites, just outside the monument for both tents or campers.
I camped at Bonito Campground 9/11-9/14 going and again 9/27-9/28 on my return trip.
The night of 9/14/2006 it rained for hours, but sometime in the early morning of the 15th the stars came out. I left that morning for Gallup, NM.
