Found at Taylor and Beach in San Francisco.
When I visited this in late November of 2007, I found it was fenced off and looking very poorly.

this looks like the statue that used to sit in front of the mortuary in Fremont Calif ??? Junie Joy

This statue was originally in front of a church in the North Beach Italian section of San Francisco. It was called by the locals, "the beatnik priest". It was moved to Fisherman's Wharf.
