Howenweep National Monument, 2006

Square Tower Group.

From Cortez, Colorado, take US 491 south to Montezuma County Road G, then drive out McElmo Canyon into Utah. Follow the road signs and you will arrive at the monument. There is a campground at the monument.

Holly Ruin, Horseshoe and Hackberry Units are just a mile or so over the border in Colorado.
