California Counties

There are 58 counties in California, each with a government headquaters or "seat". Look at the captions for each picture; I have included a story of place names, taken from the UC Press book: "1000 California Place Names" by Erwin G. Gudde, 1959.
I hope to visit everyone of them (or as many as I can). In this gallery I will post one photo from each county seat.
