In Memorium

Dannes north of Le Touquet

Situated in the dunes on the Atlantic Coast and little known
this sculpture commemorates the Allied Airmen who lost their lives in the Channel and Pas de Calais in particular.

The panel quotes Churchill - "Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few".

That's an interesting monument to War Heroes. Looks like tusks.

A superb memorium...I recently saw the movie " Darkest Hour " and one great quote from Churchill was " You cannot reason with a Tiger when your head is in it's mouth "
