Peas please!

Day 16 post op and I came home this morning.
I didn't have any ice packs to help with pain relief for my new knee -
the nursing staff recommended bags of frozen peas - 1€/kilo v +10€/each - Bingo!

Yes... frozen peas are a good alternative... sometimes better because you can mold them around your knee (or whatever needs iced) Hope you recover quickly.
