ML407 the Grace Spitfire has flown more combat hours than any other surviving Spitfire and remained operational in 7 front-line squadrons
during the war. It was converted to a two-seater trainer in 1950, and flown as an Advanced Trainer for the Irish Air Corps until 1960.
It was restored to flying condition in 1985 by the Grace family. It has remained operational and flying for longer than any other Spitfire.
