Boeing Stearman, Model 75, a biplane used as a military trainer aircraft, of which more than 10,000 were built in the USA during the 1930s and 1940s.
It served as a primary trainer for the United States Army Air Forces, the United States Navy and the Royal Canadian Air Force throughout World War II.
After the war ended, thousands of surplus aircraft were sold on the civilian market, becoming popular as crop dusters, sports planes and for aerobatics
and wing-walking in air shows.
