Heiliggeistkirche – Church of the Holy Spirit, shared over the centuries since the reformation by both Catholics and Protestants.
One of the few buildings to survive many wars during the past centuries. The foundations of the current late Gothic building date
from 1398, with construction lasting some 150 years. The church was burnt by the French in 1709, after which it was rebuilt with a baroque spire.
