1950 BRM Type 15

This prototype BRM was built in 1949. Its supercharged 1.5 litre engine was tuned to produce an incredible 600hp.
This car was driven by Reg Parnell, winning on its 2nd and 3rd outings at Goodwood in 1950. In 1952, it claimed three
podium finishes and two fastest laps with Parnell and team mate Ken Wharton. Juan Fangio drove it to victory in the 1953
French Grand Prix F1, again setting the fastest lap time. Wharton claimed three more wins before the car was retired.
