Shennong River. Peapod boats – originally used to navigate along the river, powered by
teams of men known as trackers, who first rowed, then got out to pull the boat through
the Three Gorges’ torrents. Now a side-trip put on for the tourist!
But quite enjoyable, nonetheless.
