Painted Ladies

Painted Ladies is an epithet used to describe Victorian/Edwardian houses painted in three or more
colours, to enhance their architectural appeal. This group, on the Alamo Square, are amongst the
best known; to the extent that it's sometimes called "Postcard Row".
