Second domestic trip this year, down to Cornwall in the south west for a week, somewhere we haven't visited for many a long year.
We had high hopes of exploring Poldark country and the Cornish mining industry, but sadly the weather wasn't particularly conducive to this,
and there were a lot of other places we wished to visit as well. A week turned out to be nowhere nearly long enough, so another trip will
be on the cards before too long, I suspect! Based in a country house hotel in the middle of Cornwall, in Redruth, which was central
to most of what we wanted to see and where we wanted to go. As usual, the first image shows the tracks of my little hand-help GPS device,
and the places we visited.
