The Qantas Founders Museum has long wanted a Boeing 707 of the type that introduced jet travel to the Australian people. Little did they know that the aircraft that best fitted that requirement turned out to not only be an ex Qantas 707-138 but was actually the very first 707 delivered to Qantas in 1959, the first US made jet transport sold outside the USA and the oldest servicable 707 in the world. Today she returned home..
